Reinstalling Google Chrome

If you need to reinstall your operating system, and consequently Google Chrome, any user would want to keep all accumulated bookmarks, history, password database, and, of course, settings.

Remember that all user data is combined in a profile. So, ultimately, your task is simply to transfer a profile. Just keep in mind that there can be multiple profiles created for one browser, and if you need a backup of each one, you should use different Google accounts for synchronization.
